thing until it was pointed out. The most stand-out trait of the accent to American ears is definitely the "

Kinda, its the maori accent in that vid, but most people in certain parts of auckland seem to speak that way

They're both called chips in NZ, but in that instance they're referring to a potato chip (the fried kind)
