Do you not have anything that is multi-region?

Do computers usually have the ability to play multi-region? I've never gotten a DVD for another region.

I've actually ordered from Amazon UK before...that's how I got the BBC series. ;<br />D

I have a mac. And what my laptop did was when I put in a Region 2 DVD, something would come up saying "
This DVD is a different Region that the DVD player... would you like the change the setting of the DVD player?"
Then I would, but you only get to change it 5 times. After those 5 times are up, it permanently stays the setting you last left it...

That's what I did, then had to invest in an all-region dvd player. I think it was like $80 or something, depends on what you want to do.

And Jess my computer and laptop have played DVDs from different regions which is pretty common these days (well namely Australia (Region 4) but I think I heard that Australian DVDs tend to work over here too). If not, games consoles are usally multi region or if you have a particular DVD player, there usually is a code which you use to make it multi regional which can be found on the Internet via a google search of the specific make of your DVD player or if you were to contact your DVD player manufacturer. Your DVD player may end up to be multi regional anyway since it is becoming more common these days Smile

It's also quite deceiving because aren't their Bret/Jemaine/Rhys' parts supposed to be fairly small since they aren't main characters? They're definitely milking the FOTC fame and the release date of Season 2 in the UK to get people to buy it...oh well, it will probably work ;
