Mine just came in the mail. Its weird, I'm almost apprehensive to watch it??
I'll probably watch it this weekend after I properly deflower the Season 2 DVD.

It won't be too tough either. I'll just make it drink lots of wine.

This is how I felt about Futile Attraction.
To this day, I think Katie is the only one that had the balls to watch that one in its entirety.

But yeah, that shii was hard to sit through. If I had known how tiny Jemaine's part was in the actual movie, I would have never done it. I just kept watching, waiting for some Jem-action. Little did I know all of the meat was in the DVD extras.

Honestly, I think that even if it IS a crap movie, it'll be worth watching. I'm easy to please but I know sh*t when I see it.
Take "
Monty Python and the Meaning of Life"
, for example. By no means their best piece of work, but it still has its moments. And as much as I enjoy "
Tongan Ninja"
, it's certainly not what you'd call artistic cinema. "
As funny as 'Shaun of the Dead'!"
was actually a good tagline for me because although I didn't enjoy that one the first time I saw it I love it now. So we'll see when I can justify ordering "
Diagnosis: Death"
... Can't right now, I just broke down and ordered Season 2.

Just had to poke my head in at this and say that, in my opinion, "
The Meaning of Life"
was the greatest thing Monty Python has ever done. The only possible contender for me was "
Life of Brian."

I really like "
The Meaning of Life"
and love "
The Life of Brian"
but the sublime silliness of "
Holy Grail"
really does it for me.

MmMMmmmm. . Dr. Bret. . .
You know, I've discovered something very strange: I'm a lot more attracted to Bret when he's clean-shaven for some reason. See, back when I first saw One Night Stand I was more attracted to Bret and he didn't have a beard then! So I guess the absence of Bret-beard does it for me, but I'll be damned if I know why. BACK ON TOPIC: I love Bret!
Maybe it hasn't grown on me yet. I just bought it yesterday. But I still loved it. That song Eric Idle sings about the universe? One of my favorite things ever. There are more little things to appreciate, whereas the other Python movies (as far as I remember, I haven't seen Life of Brian in years) had bigger, more in-your-face jokes. Although I wish that puke scene was just a tiny bit shorter...

You know, I thought that was the case for me, but I dunno...
When I saw him in person, something changed for me. I think maybe it was seeing him in the flesh, all the lines around his eyes (mostly his wrinkles are laugh lines, which I love) and the imperfections that TV and photo shoot makeup tend to cover up... Once he was more three-dimensional for me, I was like, "
Hmmm... There's something there."
Point is, he had a full beard then. I think I prefer him either clean-shaven or with a full beard, but not in-between.
Jemaine can do whatever he wants and I'll love it. Even a pornstache.

REVIEW! (spoilers especially for the Bret-oriented)
It was alright. I didn't have any real expectations for it. I really liked our kiwis roles.
[size=75:4ubglzr4]I am SO disappointed by the whole five seconds of blue-eyed Dr. Bret.
I could definitely make some gifs eventually. But I can wait til more people see it, unless you guys want them anyway...

I meant to add this, but either the batteries are dead, or the actual remote doesn't work on my all-region dvd player, so I couldn't select the extras. It would only let me play the movie.
