Haley, this episode will delight you. I loved it.

Demon Woman was 'ucking awesome. Jem in leather pants shirtless, rocking out, holy 'uck he's hot.

The bonding moment between Jem and Mel was cute.

Bret's karaoke was so adorable.

I'll have more thoughts when I watch it again.

I love the guys and everything they do, but this episode was a bit off. Am I the only one who thinks that?

Nope. I hated this episode. I think it might've been worse than the premire.

I may be a little biased. It was a fairly Jem heavy episode.

Although Bret looked so cute as a secret service agent.

Yeah, Mel was great. I'm glad I'm not alone though. I don't mean to bring everyone down if you did like it. I just felt icky and had to get it off my chest. They can't all be winners. I still love Bret and Jemaine more than most people. ;

I thought it was pretty funny. Not the best episode of the season, but definitely better than the premiere.

Demon Woman did nothing for me. Bret was adorable during the karaoke, but while I understood what they were trying to do, I didn't find it very funny (except the line where he uses baby and yeah).

However, I did like the first band meeting when Murray gave out the costumes, and I thought that a lot of the New Zealand jokes and the Prime Minister were funny, even though the stuff with the Matrix was labored.

The scene where Mary Lynn Rajskub took Jemaine to bed was hilarious. The other guests (Art Gufunkel, Patton Oswalt), weren't used as well.

Oh, and I liked the croutons conversation.

Overall, not so bad really, and I'm sure I'll find more to like upon rewatch.

More evidence that Mel prefers Bret! Kristin was great.

I can't wait for Emo!Bret and Jemaine next week!!

off"
- I had to immediately look up who wrote it (which I never do), and I was surprised to find out it was B/J/JB.

There were some good things, a few of which Sara pointed out in her post - "
Demon Woman"
is all sorts of sexy - the video (shirtless Jemaine, Bret in leather - good lord!) and the song, which I will be buying the second it's available on Itunes.

Loved their S & G costumes, Bret's karaoke was hilariously cute, Mel under the table on Jem's date and Mel making out in the car with Doug-as-Bret.

I LOVE Murray/Rhys , but his storyline with the NZ PM - just was not feeling it. The jokes seemed stale, I didn't like all the stuff with the Elton John guy, the Obama impersonator...

I don't want to get too negative because I think a sub-par FOTC ep is still better than most things on TV - maybe this one will get better upon rewatching, as is frequently the case.

Re-watched parts of it, and I definitely think it's the worst episode ever.

The Demon Woman video looked really cool in that little behind the scenes clip, but it sucked. And I know I'm going to piss off all but about two people on the board, but shirtless Jemaine in leather pants was ridiculous. Not funny, not hot...just ugh. Enough already. I didn't really like the song, but as long as I'm not watching the video it might grow on me.

The look-a-likes-who-don't-actually thing would've been funny if it had ended with the gig. An entire episode centered around it was a bad idea.

The New Zealand Prime Minister wasn't funny at all. Secret Agent!Bret was cute, but that's not enough to excuse that storyline. It was boring and it made Bret boring as well. BOO!

Next week looks great, but this week was a disaster.

I LOVED this ep and LMAO all thru. LOVE the prime minister. (Will the queen be there? No, this won't be a big deal). How bad the guys were singing as "
Sage"
and who? Elton was hilarious (all the quotes from his song/lp titles). Fat Bono. Jem in his leather outfit (probably best one yet, esp since it's not shrunken). Bret karaoke. Murray blaming Greg. Dave was totally on. Bret bodygaurding at night w/his sunglasses and deer sweater.

I think I musta watched a different version!!!
