I'm not going out for anyone's birthday again!!
(not really) I totally missed all of this!! And I don't know what I would have done if I actually saw this airing on HBO... *imagining self running around in circles like a headless chicken trying to think of how to get it on the board*
It's an interesting promo because I would never have pictured TV Bret or Jemaine in a car shooting at criminals, unless it was part of an imaginary music video world. However, it made me think of some of their photo shoots...
Edit: But I just realized that it's very similar in style to the acceptance speech videos! Especially the plastic knife one.
Anyhoo, I LOVE it!!! Thanks so much for posting it Sara!!

THE best part was when Jemaine got cut off and went 'Bret what are you doing?' and Bret gave this look..priceless.
They also changed the colour scheme fore season 2 to night time!! Wonder if Murray is letting them do night gigs now. Although he really shouldn't. Even though they wear reflector belts and avoid crowds by going through back allies nearly ever day a New Zealander is mugged.

I'm hoping we'll eventually have HQ versions of everything!
If any of the correct people are reading this, please put ALL of the promos and the NZMA acceptance speeches on the Season 1 dvd re-release! Actually, that just gave me an idea for a thread.

OMG.....that was flippin fantastic!!!! I so can't wait for season 2. I was like WTF Bret's shooting at criminals. But Jemaine was sooo cute taking off his sunglasses. I loved this thanks. ♪

I just saw a new promo on HBO where the guys were flying and Jemaine was complaining because he didn't expect it to be winter up here and he was wearing shorts. He asked Bret to go back to get his pants and Bret refused. Then Jemaine lost his flip-flops. I can't find it on the Internetz, but will keep looking

I've been gone all day.
Am currently investigating HBO (HD!), but the Bourne Ultimatum started 20 min. ago. SO, what I did was I set it to record until 15 min. after (which actually should go into boxing)...hopefully they'll show some commercials inbetween. If they do show it, I will SQUEE like no other and then plea for help because I wouldn't know how to get it from my DVR to my computer. Especially from a fellow Mac person...
Now I'll be obsessed with finding it. Thanks guys!
