I've got stalking LES plans lined up and a few avenues to explore in terms of picking brains but Brooklyn is big, it's like saying walk around LA and see if you see them. I'd love to know how we can be privvy to where they are going to be beforehand - we need insider info dammit.

Check out the Tour of FOTC thread... I know it won't tell you where they'll be ahead of time but it has a lot of the locations from the first season that they'll be using this season too.

well, i should've gotten hbo yesterday. but the stupid mediacom lady effed up and didn't put it on the cable guy's work order. so i gotta call her back and say "

Jess and I get HBO shows here but I think they air later (as in weeks) than on HBO so we might not be able to see the new episodes until they're made available for illegal download on the intarnets.

The cable guy was at my house today and I asked him how much more it would cost me to get HBO. I thought it was about $11 but it turns out that it would be $40-$50 more per month. I'm now rethinking getting HBO just for FOTC. :-/

Well we'll be able to watch the episodes from the internet probably like, 1 day or two after they air. For anyone who doesn't have HBO, I'll make sure we see the episodes as soon as possible.

Oh I didn't know that. That's some consolation at least.

i don't know remember where i heard this (might have been my friend's boyfriend) or if its true but if you get Comcast cable, apparently you can get a trial of HBO for about 2 or 3 months for free. whenever you so desire. so i think we are gonna try and see if theres any truth to this and get it for when the show starts. does anybody have any idea how long it should be on the air? im guessing at least 2 months. i'll ask when we set up out cable probably this weekend to see if its true.

I'll actually be relying on other people to make them appear on a torrent site within seconds, minutes, hours but most likely a day of them airing. Then *I* will make them appear for you guys within a day or two lol

Also, I guess I probably shouldn't really be talking about this here.....

Okay...you caught me.

Towards the end of the first season, episodes would go up within a couple hours, but they took a long time to download because there were no seeders.

I remember getting up early Monday mornings before work and downloading Sunday's episode to rewatch and get my fix before the day began, haha (I actually have HBO, but I like to watch stuff on my computer).

no hbo and clueless as to where to go/how to download shiznit (not very computer savvy). i may have to wait for the season 2 dvd.

I think that FOTC are a whole hell of a lot more popular now than they were during last season. I'm hoping, praying, finger crossing that people will upload the episodes pretty fast. Some of my favourite shows, which we don't get here get uploaded the same day or the day after they air.

I don't know what the procedure will be this time around, but last season, episodes were pretty consistently uploaded in a members-locked post to the LiveJournal [url=conchords_hbo][/url] comm within a couple of days of being aired. LJers might also want to look in one of the nonspecific download comms (such as ihearttvshows). So if torrents don't work for you, that might be a viable option. conchords_hbo's were just a right-click-save zips of AVI files.

For what it's worth, I have HBO, but my cable service was way patchy during the original run. I'm not a hardcore torrenter or anything, but it was pretty easy to figure out, and I still have the AVIs--even though I also have the DVDs--because I like digital ~libraries~.

EDIT: And I'm sure we on the forum could be able to arrange some kind of exchange, if it comes to that.
