I'm starting to swim in Season 2 filming finds, so from now on, I'm putting them all in this thread.

I will be working on the HBO comedy series FLIGHT OF THE CONCHORDS tomorrow afternoon and evening in Brooklyn as a businessman in a bar scene.

FLIGHT OF THE CONCHORDS Shoot

The shoot for the HBO comedy series FLIGHT OF THE CONCHORDS today was a lot of fun.

It's the fourth episode of the 2nd season, titled "
The New Cup,"
and I play a businessman sitting in a bar having a drink with a friend (actor Jack Quinn...great guy), although something happened on camera...one of those happy accidents...that when they happen, you just go with it and hopefully the director won't yell "
Cut"
and run over and call you an idiot.

On "
Action"
, Jack and I are supposed to take sips of our drinks and pantomime a conversation as the dialogue scene takes place involving the very funny Jemaine Clement, who is propositioning a woman at the bar dressed in the Joe Buck get up from the film MIDNIGHT COWBOY.

On "
Action"
, I begin to take a swig of my beer and well, I swigged a little too much...and the beer went up my nose and sprayed all over my suit and on Jack. The director didn't yell "
Cut"
, so we just get going and the scene came off nicely. We did it 4 more times and every time we ran it, someone would say to me, "
Make sure you spill the beer all over yourself again!"


Who knows? My simple act of klutziness (is that a word?) could get me a nice little bit on camera.

Either way, it was a fun day...not very long...with a pleasant crew and some fun actors to chit-chat with between takes.

Jess thought they were markers too...

I know they most likely aren't candy but I was really hope they were. For some strange reason unbeknown to me lol
