Jemaine is usually the one who comforts others, like in Girlfriends - the talking stove or in What goes on tour to Murray. I think he's better at comforting not in words but in images .

In The Actor when they're in the 'dressing room', he encourages Bret to cheer Murray up and through the whole episode Jemaine takes initiatives to make Murray feel better.

When Sally breaks up with Jemaine in the first episode (even though 'there's no relationship'... 'yet, we could start with a break'... ), I always look at the 'no dumping' sign behind them.

Also, Murray's hair is at it's most awesome in this episode.

That reminds me, I always like that Jemaine says '30 minutes' in this scene instead of 'half an hour'. No idea why.

Either way, being for an American tv network, they geared the show a bit for an American audience. Most people here use '30 minutes' and 'half an hour' interchangeably, but some are more likely to just say '30 minutes'. However, I can guarantee that you'll most likely never hear an American say 'half five'. Personally, I would say quarter/fifteen past five, and quarter/fifteen 'til five. Or 5:15 and 4:45.

Oooh yay, new thread!

I wondered if that was a reason for it. Or even if there was a reason. Like you said, the two are generally both used so I always find myself wondering if that part was ever written as 'half an hour' and was later changed, or if they wrote it exactly as it is and thought nothing else of it and I'm just being anally retentive about the whole thing. :

You're right. My friend has a Schipperke and it looks exactly like the dog in their painting from S2. I have a white husky/wolf mix and she looks just like the dog painting from S1.

Thanks for all the pix Emira, didn't remember the last two. Think the artist mighta gotten the ears too far apart! Red or anybody got a pic of the white dog from Season 1?? I don't remember that, prob will when I see it.
