SNL??

There is a rumor going around on Flight of the Conchords IMBD message board that FOTC will be the musical guest on an upcoming episode of SNL.

I heard they won't be hosting, they'll be the musical guest when the guy from Sarah Marshall hosts - I'm ashamed that I can't remember his name, Jason something. Anyway, if this is completely accurate, it would be the November 15th show.

It would be so much better if they hosted. It would be more hysterical if the two of them just sat on a couch and talked for an hour and half ... their nonsense about David Bowie ripping them off and rogue unicorns attacking Bret's invisible children is even funnier than their songs.

I think it would be really great if they were music guests. I'd rather see them as music guests and then maybe sneak them into a skit or two. The show overall may have a few funny skits for the night (if they are lucky), but a lot of it can be painful to watch. Thank goodness for Tivo!!

I've been dreaming of them being on the show, so I hope it's true!! I'm dying to hear some of their new material in a live setting.

Yes yes yes. I remember when Elija wood hosted (before I had tivo) It was too painful to watch one of the skits, I can't even remember what it was but I just felt embarassed LOL. I just changed the channel.

I would soooooooo be looking forward to the show because I think they WOULD put them in skit or two (if they don't they would be nuts)

AHHH!!! That would be so amazing! I love SNL and that would be the best episode EVER!

*fingers crossed* Although the last time that this show really made me laugh was years ago with the sketch that always keeps playing that old Haddaway 90's song and had these three weird guys dancing to the song through out the skit. These days SNL's pretty non-funny.

to watch the show. I prefer the OLD re-runs but they don't show those here anymore, shame .. But if FOTC is going to perform there I'm going to remember to watch that episode. I hope this rumour is true!

It makes me laugh... Am I the only person who thinks it's funny nowadays? It's much improved since Jimmy Fallon left.

Jimmy Fallon, blekh ... Chris Kattan was funnier. Especially in the Haddaway skit.

Mango was my favorite of his characters. I still quote that.
