The scrapbooks would not have been completed without the help of the flighties in Denver. We stayed up until 5am working on them Friday night, and they were completed minutes before we left for the Denver show. Thank you all for saving the day!

so, the quilts were A-MAZ-ZING! here is a couple cute pics of Katie and Jessica holding them up

Just wanted to add that I had nothing to do with the scrapbooks.

The other flighties were working their lil buns off on them before we left for the Denver and they did an amazing job.

They rule!

so, everyone should know that these are wonderfully crafted quilts. They are very SNUGGLY and I hope that Bret and Jemaine use them and adore them!

Thought I'd add my 2 cents on the quilt giving. " title="" border="0"/>

Katie and I presented Jem's to him and he held the bottom while we held the top corners. You could tell he was genuinely excited and really liked it. The first square he commented on was Sara's. He said, "
Ah! Boobies!"
hahahaha. Then he saw Chloe's and said, "
An omnichord! And a sheep!"


He helped us fold it back up and we put it back in the bag. He asked, "
Do you want me to give Bret his or...?"
I should have said, "
Or...what?"
but instead I said that that would be great. Then later I asked if he wanted to see Bret's, but he said he'd see it when he'd give it to Bret.

I might have mixed things up, but that's what I remember.

Anyway, you can't imagine how happy it made me to give him the quilts in person. That was what fueled me while working on them. Now I miss them , but am so happy they are with and !

Things went almost as you expected.

It would've been nice if Bret was there but at least Jem got to give him his quilt.

I can't complain at all. Yes, I would have loved to have been able to give Bret his and witness his reaction, but I am just happy that I know it was at least in Jemaine's hands. I wish someone had taken a picture of him walking off to the tour bus with all of the bags they got from us! It was so cute. (I didn't think to until he was too far away. )
