Your Least Favorite Episode

and I always make people watch that episode first.

With only 3 episodes to go, I'm feeling confident enough to vote now.

I have just rewatched it to make sure, but my vote goes to:

A Good Opportunity.

It's a shame to have to pick one, but this is my vote.

There are good things about it, and I watched it quite a lot of times between the online premiere and when S2 started properly.

I just haven't watched it much at all since then, whereas all the other S2 episodes are still being rewatched.

I can understand it does have a different tone, due to having to wrap up the Third Conchord storyline. I feel different about it once Murray gets back to his old office.

It is still the Conchords, so it is still "
very, very good"
.

(Now to continue the S2 marathon to see if I can decide on a favourite S2 episode so far. That decision is going to be harder. )

this, to me, is by far the best episode. i agree that it has somewhat of a different tone than the other episodes, but i think thats what i enjoy. i sort of wish they stuck with this mundane, dry tone throughout the entire show. i mean, they're all good, but,.. ya know.. this one is the best.

ps- just realized im supposed to be picking a least favorite. ..was not a fan of episode 1 season 2. i guess im supposed to vote or something, but ive already said too much in this post and am therefore too lazy.

I haven't voted yet, I'm choosing to do so once I've seen all of the episodes from S2.

I think my vote will end up going to A Good Opportunity though. I would have enjoyed it more if Todd and Demetri would have been it in... their absence was kind of let down for me. I don't think it was terrible and there were still many laugh out loud moments for me. I just can't put my finger on what it is that I wasn't crazy about.

There aren't any episodes that I hate though. I will rewatch all of them just like I did/do with S1, just that 2x01 will probably be watched the least of all the S2 episodes.

i think one of the main reason many people aren't that into "
opportunity"
is because of greg proop's annoying partner. i disliked her a lot. no one has really talked much about her though. *shudders*

I didn't think she was annoying, though I didn't particularly like her. I didn't really notice her one way or the other.

But yeah........ I couldn't stand her. Terrible acting.

She totally crossed the line when she called them bastards.

ADD: I assume she was supposed to be annoying. She's not the reason 2x01 is my least fave episode so far though.

A Good Opportunity"
is definitely my least favorite.
I wasn't loving the scenes in Murray's swanky new office. Wish they would've just alluded to the whole Crazy Dogggz cover version/lawsuit thing at a band meeting in Murray's old office.

The other thing is we didn't get a new FOTC song in this ep. Rejected was a Murray solo, the Femident jingle was cute it can't be considered a full song, and Angels is an old tune.

Wasn't crazy about Mel's part in this ep either.

On the positive side, still a lot of great little things in this one: the completely nonchalant return of the library cushion (amid women's rights activist discussion), the weaving discussion and Bret's woven pants, shoeless Bret, return of the cameraphone, Dave - negotiating advice and Pussy Mart, the fake Grammies, B & J as toothpaste...

Although it's their weakest ep in my opinion, it's still better than most other TV shows.

I really can't say I dislike any of them but I guess I'm gonna have to say that "
A Good Opportunity"
is my least favorite.

I voted for a good opportunity because it just didnt appeal to me, although they looked cuteeee in their toothpaste suits the concept just bored me.. i watched it the night the internet debut it and actually skipped it on HBO... And my second least favorite was the Actor, although if it wasnt for that episode Bret wouldnt had made the cute face when he said lunchboxes, which makes the whole episode great lol

I haven't seen 2 and 3 in season 2, but my least favorite is Love is Your Weapon of Choice, and it's 1) I wasn't that impressed by Kristin Wiig, and 2) those are my two least favorite songs of the series.

Yet, I've already watched it three times. The pepileptic dog stuff kills me every time.
