I like to think of these updates as scenes from some mini episodes that play out in my mind. They'd make for some good arts. XD

Bret woke up excited having dreamt a brand new song. The cheese worked. Jemaine thought it sounded familiar and then realised it was Margaritaville by Jimmy Buffet. Tonight Bret is going to try a different cheese

Bret, Jemaine and James (co-creator/director) said “we’ve noticed the less we say about the future of the show, the more people want to talk about it, so in an effort to reverse this trend we are today announcing that we won’t be returning for a 3rd season. We’re very proud of the two seasons we made and we like the way the show ended. We’d like to thank everyone who helped make the show and also everyone who watched it. While the characters Bret and Jemaine will no longer be around, the real Bret and Jemaine will continue to exist.

It's official. So how do we feel about this?

I'm happy cause it's what they want, but I'm also a little [image]

. No more Murray, Dave, Mel, Doug, Eugene, and Greg either. I'll miss that wonderful world they created, but I'm grateful they put all their time and heart into two amazing seasons. If it wasn't for the show, I wouldn't be on this board right now.

Thank you Bret, Jemaine, James and everyone who helped make the show.

As they said themselves, they will still exist ( [image]

) and so will this board.

I'm grateful for the hours of laughter and joy that the HBO show gave me - and for the many wonderful friends I've made here.

but it has been an amazing two seasons, and they've made us all so happy with them! And now I'm happy that they are doing what makes them happy.
The show will always live on anyway, through sing-a-longs, making obscure references and whatever else flighty related pops up in life!

And I'm also sure this won't be the end of Bret and Jemaine, so we do have much to look forward to yet. [image]

I'm happy with the way it ended,though.
And I am more than happy that Jemaine and Bret ended it the way they wanted to & now have time to work on their music,which was always first and foremost the most important thing [image]
