They have the ability to lift my spirits no matter how down or upset or lonely I am feeling. Every time I hear their songs or watch their episodes everything seems to dissipate and all I do is laugh. And laugh, and laugh and laugh.

Don't be silly Every bodies discovery stories are so interesting to read. I like how a lot of us had heard of them but were pretty indifferent (are we all snobs? " title="" border="0"/>) until we actually sat down and watched them properly haha

I can't believe you watched ALL of the first season in 1 evening! Well, I can really haha. I couldn't because we didn't have the time to. We watched four or 5, then another in the morning before we left for home. Then they had to be watched sporadically throughout the weeks afterwards. I did however watch it all over a day when I introduced my friend Robyn to them!


And...you are a fellow huge Bowie fan!

This story makes my heart swell. I'm going through this very thing right now. I live in Chicago, my family is in Georgia. On April 24, my grandfather passed. I flew home for his funeral, flew back on April 28 and was at the Conchords show that night. Though most of it is a complete and utter blur, I do remember being so thankful that I was there. It's amazing how much humor can heal. Those boys...they have the ability to cheer you up on even the darkest days!

There was a rough patch in my life, everything was unpleasant, it was the first time I'd turned on my mp3 player in three weeks, first song that comes on is flippin' Think About It. It was such a hilarious 'this shii's going down and you're sad why?' moment that I instantly felt better and then put on my Flight of the Conchords playlist. It was a good day after that.
