Hi Everyone!

I've been lurking and occasionally posting on this board for a week now, so it's probably time for a proper introduction.

My name is Nikki (not to be confused with the awesome hellomyfriend Nikki) and I'm happily married with an almost 2 year old little girl. My love of the conchords tv show was almost instantaneous, but it took me until episode 8 (Girlfriends) to realize I had a major crush on Bret. Not sure why it took that long.. maybe because he looked so innocent and helpless in that episode? Before that realization, I remember my husband asking which one was my favorite. I told him I didn't have one and that I liked them equally.. except that I thought Jemaine was laugh out loud funnier and Bret was a better singer. It was fun re-watching the episodes though and wondering why I didn't notice Bret's cuteness earlier on. hehe...Anyway, over a year later and I'm still crushing on Bret.

I can't believe it took me so long to find this message board, but I'm loving it! Everyone seems so friendly.

Unfortunately I missed them on tour. They came to DC while I was out of town, so I'm hoping they'll tour again after season 2. Keeping my fingers crossed!

You know, I fell in love with the show pretty instantaneously as well, but I just realized I have no idea when I first realized the dudes were pretty attractive in their own right. I know it wasn't right away, though--what was wrong with me? Who knows. (I can, however, pinpoint the exact moment I started slashing them. This probably says some interesting things about me.)

I thought Bret was hot before I even saw the show. I kept stumbling across ads and blog posts about FOTC, and every time I thought: "

I finally rented it, knowing nothing about it and expecting it to be another crappy sitcom, and ...

I first discovered FOTC years ago, hearing them perform oneof their songs at a comedy gala. This was when only the BBC radio show was out. I loved them since then, and was simply over the moon when the TV show was picked up

I discovered the guys about a year ago.. my brother showed them to me and the first episode he showed me was Yoko. I fell in love with the show and them immediately. I wasn't attracted to Jemaine right off the bat though.. I thought Bret was cute and totally my sister's type.. which I was right about. After we watched Yoko I was like "
more more more!"
so we started watching from the first episode and it was during that episode that i was like "
okay, Jemaine is totally my man!"
hahaha I fell for his cuteness and his style.

I am a bit of a night owl and often fall asleep in front of the TV and wake up even later to whatever is on. This is how I first saw FOTC (I had been a fan of their music prior, but did not know they had a show). I remember waking up in the middle of the night to the show (Sally was on) and thinking what IS this, it is so funny!!!! It was not until they did "
