Have FOTC ever been in your dreams?

Here I'll start it off:

My friends from high school and I went to a show and afterwards we happened to Be at the same hotel as Bret and Jem. The hotel was more like a dorm and we all gathered in the commons area and Jem came out (bret was hanging out with his woman or something and wasn't going to join us) and started a conga line! Jem was the leader and I was wham-bam-thankya-ma'am right behind him to watch him shake his bootay and to grab onto his little thrusting hips. Then I thought of this great idea that we should go to the bars, but nobody wanted to because they were having so much fun congaing! So we kept the conga rolling! then my mom woke me up....

I know you all have had better dreams than my lame one! Please share, and make sure to look back through time and time and read your old dreams!

k, i have dreamt of the guys for sure...but i can't remember the dream LOL...but i know i had one. As a matter of fact it was after spending hours on the MB drooling over Bret I do remember it being good, like business time good!
I can share a fantasy perchance (stealing Jem and Chrissy's word lol)?

Sadly, I have only had two fotc dreams.. .here's hoping I have more)

The first one was where the two of them were performing onstage . . the circumstances were bizarre, but I can't exactly remember them. Anyway, in the middle of their performance they leaned over and started making out. . . lotsa tongue and everything. I was so shocked it startled me awake. " title="" border="0"/>

The next dream was much more pleasant: I was making out with Jemaine. It was really soft and wet. . ;

omg - i can't believe there's a thread for this! how fantastic! okay, had my first one last night. it's very simple. for some reason, an "
exec"
from hbo had seen some of my writing on the board here, and decided to call me and offer me a position as writer for the show. he offered me 3 million dollars per episode!!!

ever since i got back from the l.a. show i've had at least one dream about them every night. and i think my mom has too. neither of us have been getting good sleep either, because their songs keep playing themselves over and over again in our heads as we try to go to sleep lol.

i can't remember any of them all that vividly, but they've mostly been about going to a show, and me getting to meet them afterwards, and jemaine loving me. but i've had a few where me and the guys were like best friends and i was on their show with them. but i do recall that in every dream that i can remember, jemaine and i are involved and wonderfully happy lol.

After almost a year I am still FOTC dreamless.

ARRG! I had one of those dreams last night where you wake up and are absolutely POSITIVE that it really happened. I mean, I could have sworn that this happened at the Nob Hill show, but after waking up and thinking for a bit I realized it must have been a dream.

Well, I dreamed that during the show. . actually, during the banter before singing "
A Kiss is not a Contract"
they were talking about how they kiss. To show everyone how, Bret leaned over, took Jemaine's face in his hands and kissed him once on the lips. Just a smooch, no tongues or anything. . . but man, it was hot. Then they kind of pulled away all awkward-like. Somehow, that was hotter than the making out dream and when I woke up I was like, "
OMG. . and to think that really happened!. . . . . .. . . .oh wait."

I think if that actually happened live, that would be the kind of thing that would leave the audience in dead silence for about 15 seconds.

Then someone like me (well, it probably might as well be me) would break the awkward by screaming "

followed by a crescendo of cheers.

Hahaha, I've quite a few...two pre-Orpheum and two post-Orpheum:

1)I was back at Amoeba in line for signing, but it was way smaller and in a mall. I finally got to the table and Bret kinda put his head down and said, "
I need a nap, bye."
Jemaine, who was standing up looked sideways at him and was like, "
Hey, are you okay?"
I was just standing there, very mellow like, saying, "
Yeah,yeah. Nap, Bret. That sounds good. We should all take a nap. the entire line."
And I mouth the words "
nap time"
to people behind me.
The dream transitions to the next day at a 70s looking house somewhere in Los Angeles. You know, those really old one story ones? I think it might have been the house my brothers and parents lived in before I was born. But I do not know this in my dream. I walk in without much problem. I have the thought "
The guys are probably jelling on a couch in there after last night."
I have the notion of a type of house kickback party is occurring and I was invited. Just then, a zombie walks out from around the corner of the entry way to the living room. I hear a nonchalant call to me from inside the room, "
Zombies."
It was Bret's voice. Jemaine sort of let out a short laugh.
Highly annoyed, I said "
Aw, f***ing zombies!"
and I pulled out a "
gun"
...well, it was actually Bret's DG20...and "
shot"
the Zombie's head off. And then I woke up.

2)Bret and Jemaine were staying over and sleeping in my brothers' rooms. I remember telling "
Murray"
that I was sorry that he did not have a room upstairs to sleep and that he had a choice to sleep in the tub or the spare room with the computer in it. he didnt seem too happy. I remember whispering because I didnt want to wake the guys.

3)For some reason, my friend and I were snowtubing in a quarry and Jemaine was there. We said hello and rushed quickly to the car to go home for some reason. The dream cuts to me waiting in my living room for a phone call or my dad to come home because I was going to meet Jemaine again. I decide to go to my room and found Jemaine in there speaking to my friend. I was shocked.
He was signing something for her and we began conversing about snowtubing. He mentioned how he almost died snowtubing and I excitedly told him I almost did, too (in real life, I did crash snowtubing). We laughed a bit and he looked around my room. "
Well"
he said, waiting for me to get him to sign something. I realized this and tried to reach this magazine picture of him on my wall but it was too high. I jumped three times and finally got it.
He signed it and I asked them how they got in my room. Apparently, my friend was waiting for me in there already. Jemaine stated, "
I came in through your bedroom window,"
referencing the Beatles song "
She came in through the bathroom window"
. We said goodbye and he went out the window, popped his head in again, said something funny, and left.

4)My oldest brother, a musician, came to visit and apparently brought Jemaine with him. I had just gotten out of bed and was still in my boxershort PJs. I walked down and saw him in the other room from the stairs. I freaked, but my mom was calling me for help with the house work. I worried that I didn't shave my legs, but walked in the room anyways. I totally ignored the man, not wanting to be a fangirl in front of my brother. I move in and out of the room as quickly as possible and feel him staring at me as he converses with my brother. Cut to sitting in my brother's car, Jemaine in the back seat and me in the front. I still do not take special notice and freak out silently.

Now, I am not a Jemainiac, so these dreams puzzle me!!!

i've had many, many - mainly just a normal dream and Bret or Jemaine will casually be my friends. i had a dream i was buying a new car and my mum said, "
call Jemaine, he's good at talking the dealer's down"
...

the second dream i had, all three of us were at a Radiohead show and Bret showed me his flip-book of sketches that coincided with the entirety of the album In Rainbows. i think the weirdest thing for me is that i'm not that huge of a Radiohead fan...

ewww...i had another fotc dream last night...but it wasn't good at all. i had went to a show, and then afterwards bret came out and invited me to their house (jemaine wasn't with him though ). so i went to their house, which was a weird old farm house out in the country by my grandparent's house, and we just hung out and waited around for jemaine. he finally came home, and was very rude and mean to me and just went in the corner of the room and magically changed into swimming trunks and got into a big metal bathtub and sulked. i woke up very sad .

well...I've had a couple recently...but, I'll give my most recent one...just because I love it so much! and it shows my newfound love for Bret.

I was at my grandparent's house...apparently waiting for B&J to come back. (yes, come back) so they come back and everyone greets them...and it's like they just want to hang out with us. Jemaine goes and sits on the couch (this is a small house) but...I am extra excited they came back because, for some reason, I had this inkling that they might not come back. So me and Bret start hugging...and I mean like my arms wrapped around his neck and his arms wrapped around my waist...and I am telling him how glad I am to see them. I am hugging Bret facing away from Jemaine and Bret can see Jemaine...and I get a chance to see from Bret's eyes and Jemaine has his arms leaning up against the back of the couch in this cocky position giving Bret a glare. Bret finds this so amusing and decides to make Jemaine jealous...so, while still hugging me, he whispers in my ear "
hey, you wanna go make out in the other room?"
I get excited but calmly lead the way pulling Bret behind me...while Bret gives Jemaine a look...

ah yes *sigh* it was nice! ;

Ok, I thought that I would share a few of my FOTC dreams since I have a seriously over-active subconcious and dream about them at least 3 or 4 nights a week (but not in a creepy way, believe me. I usually have about 15 people pass through my dreams every night). The first one I had about a week ago and the second one I had last night!

So, #1 - Those of you that have read this in the shoutbox already, feel free to pass on by! Okay, so in my dream me and my friend Revea won some sort of contest where we got to go to Bret and Jemaine's house for dinner/drinks/hanging out. When we get there, I'm very non-chalant and not so giggly or anything for some odd reason (because that definitely wouldn't happen in real life!). Me and Revea are hanging out on their couch and the boys walk in. Jem comes up to me and we start chatting and Bret immediately goes to Revea and they start chatting. Somehow, Jem and I go into another room (I think to show me a movie or cd collection?) and we are laughing and talking and having a great time. It is so casual and flirty and fun that I just remember smiling from ear to ear in the dream. Then suddenly we hear, from the other room, Bret screaming.
We rush in and Bret is screaming "
She touched my wanger! SHE TOUCHED MY WANGER!"

And Jem just tears into Revea: "
What the hell are you doing?! You can't just touch his wanger! DON'T TOUCH HIS WANGER!"

And Revea is just bawling "
I didn't mean to! I'm SORRY! Please, I didn't mean to offend him! Oh God, I'm so sorry!"
And everything is just a mess. Jem helps Bret into another room and I calm Revea down and take her into another room.
Afterwards, me and Jem meet back up in the room and I say, "
Wow man, I am really sorry for that."

And Jem says, "
What the hell was she thinking? You can't just go around touching peoples wangers. You have to ask first. I mean, you'd ask me before you just started touching my wanger, right?"

And I go, "
Yeah, of course. So, uh, can I touch your wanger?"


And, lets just say, that is the end of that dream...

#2 - So I'm at some sort of out-door festival. I'm hanging out on the lawn, sitting on a tie-dye blanket, waiting for my friends to come back with some beers. Out of nowhere, Jem comes strolling by in a pair of red stubbies. There is a band playing on the stage and people around us (all sitting on blankets) are yelling at him to get down/get out of the way. I totally recognize him but decide to play it cool and pretend like I don't really know who he is/am not a crazy fan. I look up at him and say "
Hey man, you'd better sit down before they tear you a new one. You can share my blanket if you'd like"
And he looks at me with these amazing eyes and says "
Ah yis, thank you."
So we hang out on the blanket, talking about bands that we are there to see (Alex, you'll love this, I distinctly remember talking about Old Crow Medicine Show!) and we realize that we have a lot of bands in common. I take some sandwichs and some beers out of the cooler and we just hang out and completely ignore the bands. After the show ends, he says that he and his friend are going to a bar and asks if I want to come since "
you seem like a cool chick to hang out with."
He gives me the name/address and I tell him that I will find my friends and meet him there. I finally track my friends down and meet them (Jem and Bret) at this really dark dive bar that is just oh-some. We get some drinks, play some pool, and just get right hammered. I distinctly remember jager bombs and how Jem said "
Oi, these are my fav-or-ites!"
So we are wrapping things up at the bar and Jem takes me outside and it is raining. There is a loud speaker outside and it is playing some sort of older music, kind of Frank Sinatra-esque. I want to say that it was something like "
Fly Me to the Moon"
but that just might be my mind wanting to embellish the dream or something. I say something silly like "
Oh, I love the rain. Have you ever just stood in the rain and let it fall on you?"
because I'm gay like that. Jem takes my hand and leads me out into the rain and we start dancing! And not, like, modern dancing. It was very formal, hand on hip, hands clasped together, very sweet and endearing. AAAAHHHHH!!!! It was total perma-grin. He looks at me while we're dancing and says "
I'm really glad you came to the festival today. I'm glad that I met you."
and I look up at him and say, "
Yeah man, me too."
And he leans down and kisses me very lightly, very softly and I smile into his eyes .....and then I woke up. It was the perfect end to that dream.

I love this thread already and I've loved reading everyones posts! I'll be sure to be posting regularly in here...

My sister called me up this morning while she was driving to work and she remembered that she had this incredible dream about Jemaine..
You guys have no idea... I am SOOOO jealous but happy for her.
I still can't believe how good of a dream it was..
okay.. so here is goes...
It's kinda long because I am putting alot of detail into it, but it's really good I promise....
I'm going to tell it in third person..

My sister invited Bret and Jemaine at our house for a "
TRUE"
mexican style burrito (we are mexican)... you can tell this is good dream right? lol jk...

Both Bret and Jemaine were at our house when my brothers then asked them if they would like to go to their room and play some video games. Bret took up on the offer but Jemaine decided to hang out with my sister and I. So we went upstairs and hung out in my parents room. We just hung out, told jokes, and laughed alot. I ended up falling asleep (which i don't know how and neither does she because apparently we were having a really fun time lol) My sister and Jemaine decided to leave because they were being too loud. She then told Jemaine that he should come look at my room because It is plastered in FOTC memorabilia. So they got to my room and my sister sat on my bed while Jemaine was checking everything in my room out. He was picking up random things that were around and he exclaimed "
my room is just like this"
right after he said that he noticed my rubix cube on my bookshelf and he grabbed it and plopped onto the bed next to my sister.
He asked my sister excitingly how long it took me to solve it and she just said "
i don't know!."
He then was being real boast-y about it and said that he could solve it faster than I could, and he then shoved the rubix cube towards my sister asking her to mix it up for him. My sister just started laughing because of how competitive he was being and she just said that she believed him and they left it at that.
They both just kinda layed there and let out one of those sighs, kinda like saying "
what now?"

SO THEN
Jemaine turned and took his hand and turned my sisters face towards him and they started making out. In the middle of making out there was a pause and he suddenly started BREAKING OUT INTO SONG!...
He was trying to be all sexy about it as he started singing Foux du Fa Fa... my sister just looked at him like.. "
what are you doing?"
she was slightly embarassed for him because he was trying to be soo suave by singing to her LOL.
As he was singing it, he was trying to add lib it but it was hard since he was limited, in terms of how much French he actually knew. So he started fumbling and tripping over his words and my sister noticed this and she started busting up and she said "
you don't know the words?"
and as a rebuttal he said "
you don't know either!"
and she said as she was laughing "
but it's YOUR SONG!"

My sister's conscience then kicked in and she said, "
lets go to my room because we arn't supposed to be doing this. My sister is the one that likes you and i'm supposed to like bret"
in which Jemaine responded....
"
SCREW Bret, ..where's you sister??"

he was suggesting a threesome! LMAO
my sister then quickly responded "
your such a jerk!"
and playfully pushed him and she said "
come on lets go to my room"
but then she remembered how dirty her room was and so she said that it was better that they stayed in my room. They then proceeded to make out some more. LOL
This is when I walked in (but did not catch them kissing) I apparently was looking a little embarassed that they where both in my room. My sister in order to lighten the mood, as well as make it seem like nothing happened, said "
Oh nene! Jemaine said that his room looks exactly like this!"
and Jemaine then just said "
aww yeah the only thing is that the bookshelf is on the left of the room and the sewing table is on the right........"
LOL

and thats when the dream ended..........
and she never saw them eat the burrito... HAHAHA

She said she KNOWS that Jemaine is a VIRY good kisser and he has nice breath. His lips were viry soft and he knew how to use his hands to enhance the kiss. When he came in for the first kiss he brushed my sister's bangs out of her face and put her hair behind her ear and as they were kissing just kept his hand there caressing her neck and bottom of her ear... *SQUEEE*

My sister said that when she woke up she quickly started frantically cleaning her room (just in case). LOL


This is the greatest dream that I will never have.. I think it's soo funny that she had this dream and was able to soo accurately get Jemaine's personality. I thought that was one of the best things about it.

Chickenkarma....omg i wish that was my dream except with Bret...what a wonderful wonderful dream. It's one of those dreams you wish you didn't wake up and when you do you try to make yourself go back to sleep so that the dream will continue but it doesn't ...

FINALLY! i had a dream about FOTC!

i went to see their show again, but this time it was at the Orpheum Theater [in SF...it's where i saw conan] so it was a lot easier to meet them. jemaine came out of the stage door first and everyone just started swarming him...by the time i got to him, he was in a really bad mood so he decided to leave. i was so depressed until bret came out and started greeting us all. he was sooooo nice! i don't remember what we talked about, but i know it made me really happy. after bret left, me and a couple of other people decided to walk down the street to the underground stop and all of a sudden jemaine came out! he told us he wanted to have some time alone and had taken the bus one stop and was now walking back to the theater. i talked to him for a bit and he gave me a hug! the best part was that he picked me up as we were hugging and kept saying how "
cute and tiny"
i was! he signed some things for me and we took a ton of pictures.

i finally had a dream about them! but it's funny, because they were more secondary, and jonathan coulton (one of my other favorite musicians, and also hilarious) featured more prominently. a lot of it has slipped out of my mind since i woke up, so i don't remember if i was waiting for/stalking joco, or if he and i were waiting for/stalking fotc together, but either way i was with joco, and bret and jemaine just happened to be passing by. they seemed to recognize us, so they stopped to talk for a few minutes, then kept walking, and i was still standing there with joco. then this crazy guy came up and started harrassing him, and i was just sort of laughing to myself, when i noticed this purple spiral bound notbook on the sidewalk. i picked it up and it said "
bret"
in big bubble letters with hearts and stuff....i flipped it open and it was his planner, but he'd decorated it like a fifth grade girl! haha it was totally great. so i flipped open to today's date to see if i could figure out how to get his planner back to him (the page had this cool purple spiral pattern on it), and the whole page was filled with the words "
DATE WITH CYNTHIA"
who i somehow knew was his fiancee (lol how do you like that, cynthia???), and i also somehow knew their date was at a fashion show, even though it didn't say that in the planner. so joco and i and my friend jenn (who had somehow showed up) went to this fashion show, but the only way we could get in was if we modeled. so we got in line with all the models, and the people running the fashion show slapped a hanger with a dress in each of our faces, and then we noticed bret holding a dress on a hanger about three people ahead of us in line. i scurried up to him, kind of tripping over the dress i was holding and bumping into a bunch of people, but finally when i got up there i was like "
bret! you dropped this earlier"
and he was like "
awww yih, great! thanks caitlin!"
and we proceded to chat about the fashion show...i can't remember what he said, but he was of course being his uber-friendly, sort of goofy self, and i wanted to give him a hug, but i didn't.

Funny enough, I had a Bret dream, too!

I was at an Apple Computers convention and ran into Steve Carell. He greeted me like he knew me and we conversed for a bit. He then told me "
Oh, yeah. Bret's over there!"
Bret was sitting and an iMac, iChating with unsuspecting users at the convention. He went down the line of computers on the buddy list, and gave them a short web cam greeting. I was laughing behind him and he turned around and said hi as if he knew me as well.
The dream shifts back to my house, and my entire family is getting ready for dinner. Bret sits on the couch as if he's done it a million times before. I sit next to him and we are chatting and laughing, watching tv. He suddenly starts coughing and I remember he was getting the flu. So I ask him if he wants water, and he nods mid cough, looking miserable. I go to the kitchen and for some reason cannot get water out of the cooler, instead chicken soup comes out!! And he says he doesn't want soup, he wants water. So I struggle with the impossible for a long time and when i go back to the living room with a cup of water, he left to the other room to take a nap!

That has to be the most random dream I've ever heard of.
