Flight of the Conchords follows the trials and tribulations of a two man, digi-folk band from New Zealand as they try to make a name for themselves in their adopted home of New York City. The band is made up of Bret McKenzie on guitar and vocals, and Jemaine Clement on guitar and vocals.
Bret and Jemaine have moved to New York in the hope of forging a successful music career. So far they've managed to find a manager (whose "
other"
job is at the New Zealand Consulate), one fan (a married obsessive) and one friend (who owns the local pawn shop) -- but not much else.

One of my absolute favorite scenes is from Girlfriends when they're in the kitchen and Jemaine is trying to cheer Bret up with the 'talking stove'. Makes me laugh every time!

My absolute favorite scene is on the episode when Jemaine moves out and Bret keeps asking him why. Its all the way up until Murray gets Bret to eat an apple to show him how loudly he eats that is my favorite, but this is the only clip that i can find which is the best bit of my favorite part.

i just saw the show for the first time a couple weeks ago my buddy brought it over and we watch a bunch of edisodes in a row. i think my favorite episode is bowie. do you know when the next season starts?

I'm glad that your friend introduced you to the guys.. everyone should know Flight of the Conchords! Bowie is definitely one of my favorite episodes too. Who am I kidding though.. I don't know if I could ever choose one favorite.
No word yet of when the second season will begin but I'll be sure to post as soon as I find something.

lol I just can't stand sanjay...I think he is a terrible actor, but he did have some funny moments, like "

Yeah I don't really like him either.. dunno why but he annoys me. I do love that episode though.

Jemaine says on the FOTC MySpace page that season 2 looks like it will air in January 2009!

I didn't know where to ask this question but do you think a FOTC movie will ever be made? They're obviously still popular considering how well attended their concerts were.

When Jemaine was doing press for one of his movies last year (I think either People Places Things or Don Verdean) Jemaine said [url=in a radio interview][/url] that they were in the early stages of writing a film, so I think it's a possibility.
