Phones 4u Adverts (2003)

I stumbled across this today and couldn't remember having seen it on the boards before.

They are in rare form here, promoting a phone service in the UK, from what I can tell.  Enjoy!

I remember when this advert was on telly years ago - it used to annoy me actually
But hey, I was young and naive and Bret had that tight beanie hat on so what'dya expect?
The car drives past the Angel of the North - thats right near me!!! Do you think they would have actually been inside it?

I love FOTC obviously, seen all the episodes, got the DVD, know the songs yada yada. Guessing your all still out of my league though in terms of fandom!
Was going to try and get a SECOND advert by FOTC for phones 4 u up as well, apparently they are in an airplane! But the site i captured that advert from requires a membership to see that advert, apparently its THAT good.

Says: Two guys are freezing in the cockpit of a plane.

I used to love this advert when it was on, well before I was aware of who FOTC were   .
I remember them doing a couple of adverts in the UK I think but don't really remember them being in a plane - would be amazing to see that one.

Also: even though phones 4 u now has a very different advertising stragegy I always sing this song when I walk past the shop (mainly in my head - people would think I was really rather weird otherwise)

Really trying hard to get this second advert now. All ive managed to get so far is a higher def different shot.

I think I also remember the adverts when they were on TV. I certainly remembered the song when I heard it again.

So I wrote a comment under the video without the sound and asked them also about the plane advert and today I got the reply:

Hi!

Thank you for pointing out the lack of sound on our Conchords advert, we have removed the video and will let you know when it is back up so you can enjoy it in its full glory!

We will also try to find that ad for you,
