I heart Weezer but I'm glad they didn't tour with them... I mean sure, the shows would have been bigger and more people would have gotten to see them... maybe. But considering how fast FOTC's shows sold out I don't think they would have needed to tour with Weezer. Plus they wouldn't have played as long of set.... just my thoughts. Would have been cool though, FOTC and Weezer in one night. I'd have been up for it. Smile

I would have gone for FOTC, but I probably wouldn't have stayed for Weezer (no offense to Weezer ... I'm just completely neutral about them).

Neutral is a good way to describe it. That's how I feel about them too. I do get nostalgic listening to the blue album though. Smile

I would have definitely gone to this show, but agree with you Ami that the down side to this would have been the shorter show for FOTC, which would suck.

They don't need to tour with anyone anymore, they are big enough on their own.

I like it when FOTC toured on their own. I also liked the fact that the show that I was at had a smaller crowd and i felt like i was actually hanging out with them and not just a concert with thousands of people.

i am a die-hard old school Weezer fan so this is interesting to me.

Likewise. I had it baaad for Rivers back in the day.

The Blue Album is my heartbreak remedy. For some reason if some guy is being a dick the blue album tends to make everything all better.

FOTC and Weezer? Hell, sign me up.

That's very odd news. FOTC don't need to tour with anyone and they'd better not coz I prefer it just to be a world of Flighty love at FOTC shows.

I think it would be ill advised for them to do something that would start those comparisons up again.

Also, I'm just not that into Weezer and would rather shell out my money to see the guys headline their own gigs.

I love me some Weezer sooo I think it would have been a pretty good show.. I would deffiantly see them with Weezer.. but it would suck because there set wouldnt be long enough.. still worth seeing..

i think the real question here is what would a weezer/fotc collaboration sound like? i'm thinking rivers freestyling on h vs. r, or jemaine shrieking "
ooooWEEEEoooo i look just like buddy holly..."

i'm basically down to see fotc live anytime, anywhere, with anyone. i agree they don't need to tour with a big band like that, but if that's what they do, i'll be there
