Everything else is pointing to January 18 on HBO, not the 9th, including the promos. So, I'm thinking someone somewhere got their facts messed up, but who knows. :-/

Yeah, I know. There is a guy on twitter who works on the Conchords HBO site, who said he was doing stuff for it a while back. I have been waiting for the update ever since. Hope it's not too long now...

Steve Isaacs! I remember when he was an MTV VJ.. I think he hosted Alternative Nation (and maybe 120 minutes?) back in the day. Ah, the memories. That was when you could actually catch some decent videos on MTV. OK.. I'll stop dating myself now.

i suspect it's the 18th, simply because it airs on sundays, and the 18th is a sunday, whereas the 9th is a friday. maybe there will be a reairing/repreview of the one they're putting online on the 9th??? in which case it won't much matter, since we'll all have watched it about 48 times already " title="" border="0"/> ;

What does 10pm/9c mean? I have never understood American viewing times... Does it mean that the east sees it before the west caus they're a couple hours ahead?

Efa, more specifically, there are [url=four time zones][/url] in the continental US. Right now, it's 8:45am in California (Pacific), 9:45am in Colorado (Mountain), 10:45am in Texas (Central), and 11:45am in New York (Eastern).

If a TV show comes on at 10pm/9pm (or 10EST/9C), people in the Eastern and Central time zones are seeing it at the same time. Then people in the Mountain and Pacific zones see it at 10pm/9pm (or 10MT/9P) their time.

Can't say I realized there were NINE friggin' zones, tho I've done some work in Hawiia, which is 3 hrs earlier than California, so if I had to call NY at 9 AM their time, I'd have to be on the phone at 3 AM Hawiia time! (Which basically meant no early NY calls!)

actually, not to be nitpicky (except i'm being nitpicky. oh well!), but in pacific time we would also see it at 10 our time....central time is the only one that gets to watch it "
