Hello everyone... I'm new. I've been a "
casual"
fan of FotC for a while, but since I never watch TV, I never really got into it until '09... unfortunately. Finally, I have graced you with my lovely presence, and now you may bask in it.

My screen name is ilandere, but you can call me Renee if you want. I'm a college student in Oregon studying Japanese and English literature. My hobbies include making sound effects, drawing, reading everything from classic literature to bad!fanfic (no Twilight, sorry;
I have standards), writing poetry, and shocking people. Also, I like Bret's mould farm?

Why, hello again, my fellow conchords friend fiend!! How do I spend so much time on youtube and somehow did NOT find that video?!? ...I think I shall have to watch it... religiously. Or at least up the views of it by a couple hundred.

That moment is priceless, by the way. This is going to sound ridiculous, but I was watching Othello (the one with Kenneth Branagh as Iago) yesterday and I compared Jemaine's acting skills in that scene to the brilliance that is Kenneth Branagh and Laurence Fishburne being manipulative and angsty (respectively)... Fortunately I did not make that comparison out loud-- my poor literature prof.!!

@gezyka: I do sound effects whenever I trip, for example, and generally that sounds like an epileptic squawk. That's probably my most (in)famous, I think. I also prefer robot noises and always have, which is probably why my sister sent me a link to FotC in the first place.
I wouldn't classify my laugh(s) as a sound effect, but it certainly sounds weird enough to be one.

EDIT: Man I just watched that video in it's entirety.. several times... and I have a new favorite quote. Or five.
