Just wanted to introduce myself before I jumped into a thread randomly. My name is Rachel, I'm a new-ish fan, and... Eagle vs. Shark could be my new favorite movie.

Yes, I've already seen tons of .gifs and pictures that I never knew were around. I'm so happy that this place exists.

Before I go off searching: if I use a .gif in my signature, do I credit the maker? I've been looking around and haven't really noticed a trend with that.

As long as you are using the gifs here, I don't think anyone would mind if you used one of their gifs without crediting them. There are few gif makers here and I think we all know who they are. ;
)

It seems like her role is small based on the character name alone. I won't get my hopes up.

As one of the gifmakers on the board, it is always nice to be asked first if using one of my gifs for your sig or av. I don't need any credit actually on the sig at all. We all recognise the gifs from the gifmakers.

If you want to use the link for the gif rather than upload it yourself, that is fine. I have plenty of bandwidth.

If you need anything of mine resizing, just give me a shout.

The above is only speaking for myself. I'll let the other gifmakers speak for themselves.
