Hi from NJ! :)

Hi everyone!

I'm Jillian. I'm 20 years old and I'm from NJ (don't drink the water ;
)). I usually tend to lurk on forums and such but I'm trying to break out of that, hehe. Anyway, I'm a pretty new Conchords fan. Over my winter break I watched the pilot episode on HBO On Demand and I was hooked. I went out and bought the Season 1 DVDs the next day and I've been completely obsessed since then.

I was at the early Philly show last night in the 4th row and it pretty much made my life. Since I've only been a fan since December, it was my first show and to be in the 4th row just made it that much more incredible.

I can't wait to read everyone else's tour accounts and I really hope everyone that is going to a show has a great time. I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone and to start posting (I've got some stuff from the show last night as well as a few wallpapers I've made so I'll be posting them soon).

Thanks I skipped one of my classes to get tickets as soon as they went on sale. Totally worth it for 4th row seats.

Favorite part? Can I say the whole thing? I really loved the whole water splashing incident in Pencils in the Wind. Hilarious (and adorable). Oh, and there was a hilarious tangent before they played Bowie after someone shouted something unintelligible.. Jemaine started talking about how he was an alien time tripping from the future. I actually wrote up a summary of the show in my livejournal.. I'll post a link to it in the thread for the show.

Hey Jillian! I'm really envious of those who got to go to the Philly shows- they both seemed like so much fun!

Hi The show was so much fun and the crowd was great. Hopefully a lot of videos will turn up on youtube soon for those who weren't able to go to the show.

Where from in NJ? I'm also here in the dirty jerz, by Wayne/Sussex/High Point basically really really northern. So awesome you got 4th row- did you get through ticketmaster?

Yay, another New Jerseyan! I'm down in Ocean County (Toms River to be exact.. I'm reppin' exit 82 ). I got my tickets through Live Nation during the fan club pre-sale.

Hahahahaha It's so funny you say your exit... up here it's redneck country (the real reason it's the 'garden state') and when people ask what exit we're off... well.. it doesn't really work that way. Haha take 80 til it ends and then in an hour when you start to see cows, that's where I am! I'm about 2-3 hours away from you!

Haha, yeah, everyone around here describes things by their exit and I've gotten in the habit of doing it myself, too. I'm not too familiar with North Jersey, but it sounds like it's pretty different where you are. I'm about 10 minutes or so from the beach.. no cows here.

I'm so glad you had a good time at your concert. Just posted a video that someone posted of Sellotape on the Philly thread and I love it! No wonder that was one of your favourite parts of the show.
