I've been telling my roommate about Bus Driver's Song since last summer. He just doesn't get why it's awesome. Didn't Jemaine say in an interview once that was his fave song that they did? It's a really old interview.

I cannot WAIT for this episode...especially now!

Yeah, I would NOT be a happy camper if it wasn't Bret, but I can't see why they wouldn't have him sing it.

Honestly, when I heard Ex-Girlfriends Carol Brown for the first time, I was thinking they'd probably get girls to sing Bret's part on the show, as sad as that is. :'(

When we were talking about this in the SB, people were thinking that it would make more sense for Murray to be singing BDS due to his bus-driving fantasy in 'What Goes on Tour', but I don't see that happening. (Besides, in interviews, Rhys has said he gets a song this season.) What I can see is Murray being the bus driver, but Bret singing (but not necessarily having Murray lip-sync). Or, Murray dreaming about being a bus driver, and Bret actually being Tony in the dream.

Here's another concern - the song is almost 5 minutes long. I don't think any TV-versions of the songs are anywhere near that. Will they make an exception and give us the whole thing? How much could they cut without ruining it's magic?

I'd be surprised if it wasn't in this episode. Maybe the songs SO great that they didn't want to feature it in the promo for risk of taking some of the spotlight away from it?

I think that Taika knows the guys well enough that he would leave Bret to be lead on Bus Driver Song and have the two of them harmonize like they always do. It seems that this song is really their staple song and they would not want to mess with it!
